WARSAW, Poland (AP) — While the Netherlands has flopped so far at the European Championship, at least one Dutchman at the tournament is still smiling.

Russia coach Dick Advocaat is the “Little General” marshaling one of the tournament’s most entertaining teams, Russia.

It’s
like Euro 2008 all over again. In Austria and Switzerland, Dutch master
Guus Hiddink steered an unheralded Russia to the semifinal. The only
team to beat Russia at Euro 2008 was winner Spain — which took Russia
apart in its first group match and again in the semifinal.

The two
teams are again proving the most compelling to watch in Poland and
Ukraine, topping scoring with five goals each in their opening two
matches.
