Favorites Daria Korobova and Svetlana Kolesnichenko claimed Russia’s first gold at the European Swimming Championship by winning the duet free routine synchronized final on Aug. 16. Ukraine’s Lolita Ananasova and Anna Voloshyna took the silver.
