You're reading: Blokhin: Ukraine’s team in general ready for match against France

Coach of Ukraine's national football team Oleh Blokhin has said that despite the fact that Ukraine defeated Sweden he had claims on the team.

"We’ve discussed the match with Sweden and I can’t say that it was a pleasant conversation. The last 10 minutes of the match could ruin the results of the team’s work over 80 minutes. They broke the game discipline in the last minutes, the team wanted to score the third goal in extra time," Blokhin said at a press conference before the training of Ukraine’s team in Kyiv on June 13.

At the same time, the coach said that the national team is in general ready for the upcoming match with France.

On June 14, Ukraine will depart for Donetsk to play France and England there. The team will stay in Donetsk between the matches.

Earlier, Ukraine defeated Sweden 2-1 and lead Group D with three points. England and France played a draw 1-1 and gained one point each.
