MOSCOW - Anatoly Syrovatsky, head coach of FC TSK Simferopol, a Crimean football club, has ruled out any possibility of the football club returning to the Ukrainian championship.

On Dec. 1, the UEFA Executive Committee adopted a decision to ban Crimean football clubs from playing in the Russian championship starting from 2015 or establishing a special area on the territory of the peninsula where football would develop under the aegis of UEFA.

“This will not happen,” Syrovatsky told the matchday.ua website, after being asked whether or not there was any chance of FC TSK Simferopol returning to the Ukrainian championship.
