General Secretary of FC Dynamo Kyiv Vasy Babiychuk has died at the age of 55, reads a statement posted on the club's Web site on Friday.
“With a feeling of sorrow, the employees of FC Dynamo Kyiv have learned about the tragic death of the club’s general secretary, Vasyl Hryhorovych Babiychuk, at the age of 55,” reads the statement.
Babiychuk devoted over 20 years of life to the club.
“He was an open, honest and kind man, and he was also a decisive and courageous person. He continued to work conscientiously despite health problems,” reads the statement.
