The Formula One Powerboat World Championship will be held at the Kyiv Reservoir from July 26 to July 28, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk said.
“This year it will begin on July 26 with an opening ceremony and a bike show. The world championship and a concert will take place on July 27, and the President Cup competition and the final stage of the championship will be held on July 28,” he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
Prysiazhniuk said that these events would be held as part of the marking of the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization of the Kyiv Rus.
“We will have a lot of distinguished guests. All official events marking the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization of the Rus will be held before dinner, and after that they will have a chance to relax and participatein our events, because they start at 1800,” he said.
“It will be interesting this year,” he said.
The Formula One Powerboat World Championship will be held at the Kyiv Reservoir for the third time. Stands are already being installed on the quay in Vyshgorod.
