You're reading: France, Germany ready to help Ukraine share EuroBasket 2015 matches

 President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Volkov has said that France and Germany have officially declared their readiness to help Ukraine to host a number of a group stage matches of EuroBasket 2015 if necessary.

 “We received official letters from the Basketball Federations of
France and Germany, which will help us to host matches of two groups if
we’re late with building [stadiums],” he said at a press conference in
Kyiv on Monday.

Volkov said that France and Germany are going to do this as a part of
the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World
War.

The rest of the games still will be played in Ukraine under such scenario, the federation’s president said.
