The Detroit Pistons added Ukrainian center Vyacheslav Kravtsov with a multiyear contract on Saturday.
Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars says the 24-year-old Kravtsov has good rebounding and shot-blocking ability.
The 2.11-meter (6-foot-11) Kravtsov has played for Ukraine since 2006. He averaged 10.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in the Ukrainian Superleague last season.
