The revival of the work of a separated Youth and Sports Ministry will help to draw special attention to physical training and health improvement in the younger generation, Regions Party MP Elbrus Tedeyev has said.

As the press service of the Regions Party reported on Wednesday, the MP was commenting while presenting at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers a program on the activization of economic development. He said that the program, which was created on the president’s orders, foresees the rebirth of children’s and junior sport schools, which in turn will improve the health of young people.

“This issue is especially important for me. It was very pleasant to hear from the president that it’s necessary to revive children’s and junior sports schools, and the children’s sport and Olympic movements. It’s very important and very wonderful. We support these initiatives 100%,” the MP said.

“For us, the government’s and president’s proposals are very relevant. And what is more important, such initiatives always find a response not just at the legislative level, but also are supported by the Ukrainian population,” the MP said.
