The GB Lionhearts suffered a 4-1 defeat to a strong Ukraine side in their latest World Series of Boxing appearance.
Featuring Olympic champions Oleksandr Usyk and Vasyl Lomachenko the Ukrainians were always expected to earn the win. Sean McGoldrick got the Lionhearts off to a great start by getting a split decision against bantamweight Ivan Ilnytskyy.
But double Olympic champion Lomachenko levelled the tie against Sam Maxwell, overcoming a slow start before a barrage in the fourth left the Briton needing a standing count.
