LONDON, Aug 10 (Reuters) -- Ukraine's Taras Shelestyuk took the bronze medal in the men's welterweight boxing event on Friday in the Summer Olympics.
Britain's Fred Evans won the semi-finals of men's welterweight boxing event on Friday. Evans beat Ukraine's Taras Shelestyuk 11-10 to progress to the final while Shelestyuk went home with a bronze. Results Table Fred Evans (Britain) beat Taras Shelestyuk (Ukraine) 11-10.
