Ukraine's national Olympic team has taken 14th place among nations in the overall medal standings at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Ukraine picked up six gold medals, five silver medals, and nine bronze medals, boosting its total medal count to 20.
Ukraine's Yana Shemiakina took gold in Fencing, women's quadruple of Yana Dementieva, Kateryna Tarasenko, Natalia Dovhodko, and Anastasia Kozhenkova – in Rowing, Oleksiy Torokhtiy – in Weightlifting (94-105 kg), Yuriy Cheban – in Canoe Sprint, Oleksandr Usyk – in Boxing Men's Heavyweight (81-91 kg): and Vasyl Lomachenko – in Boxing Men's Lightweight (56-60 kg).
A total of 245 athletes represented Ukraine in 28 sports at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The 2012 Summer Olympics were held in London on July 27 through August 12.
