Ukrainian athletes won two more gold medals and a bronze on the fourth day of the Paralympic Games in London, reads a statement posted on the Web site of the National Sports Committee for the Disabled of Ukraine.

Athlete Maria Pomazan claimed a gold medal in the shot put, beating her previous world record of 12.22 meters.

In addition, Alla Lysenko took a gold medal in rowing, while Kateryna
Morozova, Olena Pukhaeva, Volodymyr Kozlov, Denys Sobol and Denys
Stelmakh won a bronze medal in mixed rowing.

Ukrainian athletes have currently won 25 medals at the Paralympics,
11 of them in swimming, one in shooting, five in judo, two in rowing,
one in powerlifting, and five in athletics.

The commission reported earlier that the organizers of the Paralympic
Games decided that Pomazan won a gold medal in discus throw due to a
technical mistake.

President of the National Sports Committee for the Disabled Valeriy
Sushkevych filed a protest, due to which the stripping of Ukraine of a
gold medal was suspended.
