AMSTERDAM - A convoy of eight trucks carrying wreckage from the Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 disaster has arrived at a Dutch military base, as the official investigation into the cause of the plane's destruction continues.

Trucks carrying the wreckage of the passenger airplane MH17 that crashed in Ukraine on July 17, 2014 drive on the A1 highway near De Lutte on December 9. The convoy is on its way to the Gilze-Rijen Dutch Air Force base, where the plane will be reconstructed as part of probe into the crash. The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 was blown out of the sky on July 17 over rebel-held territory in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board, two-thirds of them Dutch.
