The French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo plans to launch its Ukrainian version, the employee of the magazine, Francois Anglande, said.

“You will not believe it – we will soon launch in Ukraine,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, Ukrainian journalists will write their own articles, while the French office will just supervise the launch.

He also wrote that the first Ukrainian issue of the magazine would have materials about Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in downtown Paris was attacked on Jan. 7. Twelve people, among them eight journalists, were killed.
