The artwork of Christopher Paul Baxer is on exhibit at the Ukrainian Museum and Library, 161 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, Conn. through September 9, 2012.

The painted scenes are part of a life that ended too soon.


There's the outside of McSorley's Old Ale House, a stomping ground from his years at Pratt Institute in New York.

There's one of leaping Ukrainian performers from his months as a dance teacher.
