Brussels – The information that the European Union possesses regarding the Russian humanitarian convoy's unauthorized crossing of the Ukrainian border is so far insufficient and controversial, Sebastien Brabant, Deputy Spokesperson of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Catherine Ashton, said at a news conference in Brussels on Aug. 22.

The European Union has repeatedly aired its position on the matter, which is that the delivery of humanitarian aid from Russia to Ukraine should comply with international law, Brabant said.
