Ukraine’s envoy to the European Union pleaded for the EU to sign an Association Agreement to anchor his country to the West if next month’s parliamentary elections are shown to be free and fair.

Ukraine’s envoy to the European Union pleaded for the EU to sign an Association Agreement to anchor his country to the West if next month’s parliamentary elections are shown to be free and fair. Ambassador Kostiantyn Yelisieiev said his country was making efforts to be “as open as possible” and to convince the EU that it deserves support.
