The former director general of AeroSvit (Kyiv) has been put on the international wanted list, the press service of the prosecutor's office of Kyiv region has reported, without specifying his surname and initials. 

The prosecutor’s office said that the law enforcement authorities of Kyiv region are carrying out an investigation within criminal proceedings against the airline officials in connection with the violation of the legislation on labor, in particular, non-payment of wages and insurance premiums to the Pension Fund, and the prosecutor’s office of Kyiv region is involved in preliminary investigations on these proceedings.

According to the report, the former AeroSvit CEO, during whose work at the company these debts had accumulated, is suspected of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 172 (gross violation of labor laws), Part 1 of Article 173 (gross violation of labor contracts), Part 1 of Article 175 (non-payment of wages), Part 3 of Article 212-1 (insurance premium evasion) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“It should be stressed that at present the former company CEO is trying to evade investigation, due to which he has been put on the international wanted list,” reads the report.
