Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin on July 17, the first anniversary of the crash of a Malaysian Boeing in Donetsk region, signed an agreement for the mandate of a joint inquiry group investigating the crash to be extended until Feb. 7, 2016.

“Today Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin has signed an agreement to extend the mandate of a joint inquiry group until Feb. 7, 2016, having supported the relevant proposal from his Dutch counterpart Frederic Westerbeke,” said a spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office.
