You're reading: OSCE Parliamentary Assembly sets up Baku Group for Ukraine

The so-called Baku Group for Ukraine has been set up at the 23rd session of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Parliamentary Assembly, being held in Baku.

President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Speaker of the Montenegrin parliament Ranko Krivokapic said that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly met on June 30.

A decision was made to set up a Baku group to be comprised of representatives of various parliaments, including the parliaments of Russia and Ukraine, he said.

He also spoke about the role of parliamentary diplomacy in settling conflicts.
