A: Thank you for the question.  Let me start by saying we have a strong relationship with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people and we have a strategic partnership which made significant progress, at times, under President Yanukovych.

Q: Geoffrey Pyatt, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine.  My first question, Mr. Ambassador is the following:  Why does the U.S. not acknowledge the legitimacy of President Yanukovych?  When did he lose his legitimacy and why?
