Basking in warm spring sunshine, thousands of people joined the 15th annual ''Mega March'' of the vyshyvanka, or traditional embroidered shirt, in Kyiv on May 24. Amid a relaxed, holiday atmosphere, the march was followed by a free benefit concert raising funds for a hospital burns unit. A speaker at the event said the vyshyvanka was a symbol of Ukrainian identity.
