In response to the Tohoku Pacific Ocean Earthquake, an aircraft carrying relief supplies from Ukraine arrived at Narita Airport yesterday afternoon (Thursday, March 17). The relief supplies from Ukraine consist of approximately 2,000 blankets, which will be sent to the disaster-stricken regions by the cooperation of the International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC) and Sagawa Express, which is a member organization of the Council. Today (Friday, March 18), Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Hisashi Tokunaga met with H.E. Mr. Mykola Kulinych, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, and received a report on the arrival of the relief supplies from Ukraine. Read more.
