A Soveit-era Yak-52 aircraft crashed near Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv killing at least one and injuring another on June 8, officials said.

The Yak-52 aircraft went down while performing a pilot training flight not far from Chaika airfield in suburban Kyiv. The pilot died at the scene, while a passenger was rushed to hospital in the capital, the emergencies situation officials said in a statement.
