 Wheat markets jumped to US687 cents a bushel this week as concerns regarding the Crimean crisis continued to place a hefty risk premium on the market. It represents a gain of just under 25pc on contract lows early in the year. However, analysts covering the Black Sea believe that unless the situation escalates there will not be physical impositions on grain exports from the region.
