On 1 July, Andriy Shevchenko hopes there might just be another – this time one tinged with poignancy and followed by a farewell. "For the last five years I've hardly thought about anything but the European Championship that will be held in my country," the 35-year-old says. "It's fair to say this has extended my career. It's my dream."
