As the world marks the 25th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, fears are growing that the 1986 explosion in reactor four of the nuclear power plant could return to haunt us once more.
The concrete sarcophagus surrounding the wrecked reactor is crumbling, and a 16-year fundraising effort by the Ukrainian authorities has raised less than half the $2.2 billion needed to replace it.
