Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted Tuesday that he can use as much force as necessary to protect Russians in Ukraine as NATO and Russia agreed to meet over Russia's intervention in the Ukrainian province of Crimea.
Anders Fogh Rasmussen, secretary-general of the U.S.-European military
alliance, said an extraordinary NATO-Russia council will convene this
week.
