  Seventy-nine people were injured during the events on Kyiv's Independence Square on November 30, Ukrainian Deputy Prosecutor General Anatoliy Pryshko said.

“Seventy-nine individuals who sustained injuries have been identified… Six students, four reporters, two foreigners and others. Ten people were hospitalized and two still remain in hospitals,” Pryshko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.

Seven policemen were injured as well, the deputy prosecutor general said.

Large-scale rallies in support of Ukraine’s European integration on Kyiv’s main square on November 30 escalated into clashes with the police.
