KREMENCHUK, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine - About 100 people in the uniform of employees of Kremenchuk oil refinery are picketing the building of Ukrtransnafta in Kremenchuk, demanding the resumption of supply of Ukrainian oil produced by Ukrnafta enterprises to Ukrtransnafta.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, they are holding the posters “Let’s huddle Pasishnyk (the Executive Director of Naftogaz Ukrainy) into a container” and shouting “Shame,” “They blocked the pipe and now we are left without job and wage.”

The protest is peaceful, without attempts to assault. However, picketing are young people aged 25-35 years, athletic, not very willing to communicate with journalists, cannot say in which workshop they work and mix up their duties.

Earlier on August 1 Naftogaz Ukrainy Executive Director Andriy Pasishnyk wrote on Facebook page he had received a message from the security service of Kremenchuk oil refinery on the assault on the plant by 20 unidentified men.

“Law enforcement authorities have been informed,” he added.
