Horlivka - Following artillery strike at Horlivka in the Donetsk region on July 29 five people died and 23 were injured, the Horlivka rescue service department said on Wednesday, July 30.

Many people attempting to leave the city have gathered at the
Horlivka bus station but they do not enter the building fearing shells
might hit it, an Interfax correspondent reported.

Last night was calm and no gunfire was heard. Despite that, rumors
spread on attacks being prepared and local residents went from their
apartments to bomb shelters several times throughout the night.

Horlivka has problems with bread supplies, it is available only in stores, which have own bakeries.

The city has water and electricity and only some residential
districts remain without power but repair works are being held there
now.

On July 27 a total of 14 people died in gunfire in Horlivka.
Artillery strike at central Horlivka on July 28 claimed lives of 17
civilians, including three children, and injured 43 people. Three-day
mourning has been declared in the town.

Thus, in the past three days 36 people died in Horlivka.
