Drohobych Town Council in Lviv region has decided to ban the activities of the Regions Party, the Communist Party, as well as their symbols, in the town, the council's press service has reported.  

Such a decision was made at an extraordinary session held on the square near the Town Hall.

In addition, deputies made a decision according to which local officials were banned from placing in their offices the portraits of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

The deputies also asked the mayor to ban the sale of alcohol after 1800. This proposal will be discussed at the next meeting of the council’s executive committee.
