Air Astana Airline (Kazakhstan) from March 31, 2013 launched regular flights from Kyiv to Astana and Almaty, reads a press release of the airline issued on Tuesday.
The press release says that the Kyiv-Astana flights will be performed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using Embraer 190 aircraft (the flying time is four hours).
The Kyiv-Almaty flight will be performed on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays using an Airbus A320 (the flying time is five hours).
The minimum price of the economy class round trip ticket for the Kyiv-Astana flight will be Hr 2,870 (including all fees and duties), and business class – Hr 13,133. The cost of the ticket for the Kyiv-Almaty route will be UAH 2,982 for economy class and Hr 13,165 for business class.
Air Astana is a joint venture of Joint Stock Company Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna (51%) and Britain’s BAE Systems Plc (49%). It performs 40 international flights.
