The armored vehicles of militants that crossed the border from Russia will be destroyed soon, an advisor to the Ukrainian interior minister, Anton Heraschenko, has said.

“They are directed by Russians. We recommend leaving these machines,
because they will be destroyed from the air in the near future,” he said
at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, June 13.

He said that these vehicles were now in a state of disrepair in the
village of Chasiv Yar. He said that these tanks once belonged to
Ukraine, they were in Crimea, and then transferred by sea to Russia, and
after that they crossed the border.

Heraschenko also promised that by Saturday, June 14, the state border
with Russia would be fully under control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
and “the roads leading to it will be exposed to fire.”

He warned that “there will be the same with the town of Snizhne, if it becomes a center of terrorism, as with Mariupol.”
