Over 596,000 people have already moved from Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions to other Ukrainian regions, military operation spokesman Andriy Lysenko reported.

“Overall, 2,719 persons moved from temporarily occupied territory and the military operation zone to other Ukrainian regions over the last 24 hours, 222 of them are children. A total of 596,108 persons have already resettled from Crimea and Donbas, 132,847 – children. All of them were accommodated in various regions of Ukraine with the necessary things for life provided,” Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

Lysenko went on to says that from August to December 25, 2014, after populated areas have been liberated from Donetsk region militants, 5,357 facilities were restored, including 471 residential houses, and that power supply was resumed in 163 population areas.
