A Chornobyl cleanup worker, who participated in a protest action, died in Donetsk region, according to Channel 5.

According to the news presenter, the protesting Chornobyl cleanup participants said that the diseased didn’t stay in the protesters’ camp for the whole time of the action but came to see them every day from Makiyivka, Donetsk region.

Five days ago he was taken to hospital with heart attacks.

In the early hours of Monday the man died.

Earlier Ukrainian veteran of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster cleanup, Gennady Konoplyov, died in Donetsk on Nov. 27, 2011 shortly after police officers forcibly removed a tent camp set up by liquidators in Donetsk to protest cuts in their benefits.

During the operation Konoplyov was shoved by police and died in an ambulance during his transfer to hospital.
