The latest events in Kyiv are not a sign of democracy but an attempt to seize power by force, acting Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said.

“This is not a manifestation of democracy and the people’s social position. This is the manipulation of the people’s conscience and an attempt to forcibly seize power,” Arbuzov said in opening a government session on Wednesday.

The acting prime minister claimed that “the entire international community” has condemned aggression and violence, and that such actions have never led to peace in any country.
