Armed men on Thursday raided a facility in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, belonging to Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television Concern and gained access to the equipment inside, concern's chief executive Kostiantyn Zakharenko said in a letter to the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection.

A concern’s statement said the Interior Ministry had failed to
fulfill instructions from Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk to organize
the defense of concern’s facilities.

“The non-fulfillment of the prime minister’s instructions has
resulted in the seizure of one of the concern’s strategic facilities,”
the statement said. It said that at 14:45 p.m. ten armed people raided
the facility, gained access to its equipment, and took cellphones away
from employees, blocking concern’s management contact with them, the
company said.

It said the raiders were not raising any demands, and that the
concern’s management believed this threatened to block state radio and
television broadcasting in the area.
