You're reading: Artillery shelling kills nine in two districts of Donetsk

 Nine people have been killed and 13 more injured as a result of artillery shelling of Donetsk on Aug. 20th, reads a statement posted on the website of Donetsk City Council.

 “In the first half of the day shells were fired in the Petrovsky (the village of Trudivska Mine) and Kyivsky (Polihrafichna Street) districts of the city. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Seven people were killed in the Petrovsky district, and two in the Kyivsky district, while 13 people sustained various injuries,” reads the statement.
