Lviv-based Atlasjet Ukraine airlines has postponed the launch of its new flights until the end of September or October, while the flights were to be originally to be launched early in September.

“The launch of Atlasglobal flights was postponed due to the review of flight schedules,” the company wrote on Facebook.

In particular, the Kharkiv-Istanbul, Istanbul-Lviv and Zaporizhia, Istanbul routes will be launched later than previously announced, in particular flights from Kharkov to Istanbul will start on Sept. 28, 2015, from Zaporizhia to Istanbul on Oct. 12, 2015 and from Lviv to Istanbul on Oct. 26, 2015.

“The airline ensures full compensation or new tickets for another date for the passengers who have already bought tickets,” the post said.

Partner of the Ante law firm Andriy Guck told Interfax-Ukraine that the postponement is due to technical reasons, in particular, the Turkish company Atlasglobal has its own ADS sales system and it failed to conclude agreements and streamline business operations in Ukraine within the given time frame.

“In addition, there has been little time for an advertising campaign, and it was decided to reschedule active regular flights,” Guck said.

Atlasjet Ukraine was registered in Ukraine on Sept. 13, 2013. On April 2, 2014, the State Aviation Service of Ukraine issued a license to the company for regular passenger flights.

Atlasglobal is a commercial brand under which the company operates.
