Austria has proposed supplying medical equipment to the Okhmatdyt national children's specialized hospital in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.

“We consider Austria’s participation in equipping the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv very important. It is crucial that this hospital had modern technology, and we are very grateful to Austria for this generous offer,” he said in a joint press statement with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann in Kyiv on Wednesday.

In addition, Poroshenko said that top Ukrainian managers would undergo training in Austria on export opportunities and work in the EU market.

The parties also agreed that 200 Ukrainian children from the combat zone in Donbas would spend a winter vacation in Austria.
