Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble have agreed on the arrival of an Interpol team in Ukraine to help identify victims of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing crash in the Donetsk region.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on Friday, July 18 the agreement was
reached in a telephone conversation, which discussed a possibility of
cooperation in the Boeing crash inquiry.

“It was agreed that the Interpol General Secretariat would
immediately send a team of skilled specialists to Ukraine to help
identify the victims of the aforementioned tragedy,” the ministry
reported.
