Ivano-Frankivsk – Avalanches continue in the mountains of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

“On the night of March 30 to March 31, there were massive snowslides in the north-eastern slopes of Breskul Mountain, in the north-western slope of Pozhezhevska Mountain and the northern slope of Dantsyzh Mountain,” the State Emergency Situations Service’s branch in Ivano-Frankivsk region reported on Monday.

According to the service, there will be a high danger of avalanches in the Carpathians on April 1-2.

As reported, four avalanches have been spotted in the mountains in Ivano-Frankivsk region on March 30, three on March 23.
