In June, Ukraine imported around 1.7 billion cubic meters of Russian gas and around 300 million cubic meters of gas from Hungary and Poland.

The ministry said that the June price for domestically produced oil (used for calculating oil royalties) was Hr 9,373.18 per tonne, 1.6 percent more than in May (Hr 9,221.97 per tonne).

The parliament in July 2012 passed a law according to which the Economic Development and Trade Ministry from the beginning of 2013 should monthly, prior to the 10th day, publish the average customs value of imported gas for the previous period.

As reported, Ukraine and Russia failed to agree the price of natural gas imported under a contract signed by national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and OJSC Gazprom.
