Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has said the fight against corruption is the main task of the agencies of the executive branch and local government.

Azarov said this on Saturday at a meeting with the leadership of Kyiv city administration and the heads of the central agencies of executive branch devoted to settling urgent problems of Kyiv’s development and supporting the city’s vital needs.

"Build a system where bribes will become just impossible. I personally don’t take [bribes] – this is not [something I do]. Currently there are all of the organizational, legal, financial opportunities to create a system without corrupt government on the whole," Azarov said.

He named key elements in creating a system without corruption: the introduction of "a single window" in the registration system for entrepreneurial activity and regulation, transparent state purchases, plus the allocation of land plots.
