Velyki Sorochyntsi - Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has noted the need to increase the flight time for military pilots.
"A few years ago, the military pilots were on the ground and did not train flight skills. Now we have set the goal to get up to 50 hours of flight time for each military pilot," he said speaking at the Sorochynska Fair in Poltava region on Thursday.
According to him, ideally, every military pilot should have up to 80 hours of flight time.
The prime minister noted that the government intends to develop Ukraine's aviation.
