Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that wages and pensions in Ukraine will be raised four times in 2013.

"Next year we are planning to increase in pensions and wages four times – once every quarter," he said during the hour of questions for the government a parliament session on Friday.

He also said that by the end of this year, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to increase social benefits twice.

"A systemic improvement of pensions and wages is being observed in our country, and the government will continue to do that," Azarov said.
