Ukraine's Olympic team is in good spirits and is set for victory, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

“Today we will participate in the opening of the Olympic Games. Today
I talked to our team, and our athletes are in good spirits and they are
set for victory, and we are determined to support them. I would like
our victories to be vivid and memorable, and I would like our athletes
to defend the honor of our country,” the press service of the Cabinet of
Ministers quoted him as saying at a briefing in London on Friday, July 27.

Azarov also said that he had already met with British politicians and
businessmen. In addition, he gave interviews to local media.

As part of a reception to be hosted by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth for
the heads of delegations, Azarov held several meetings with the heads of
delegations who will attend the opening of the Olympic Games.

Azarov is heading the official delegation from Ukraine to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London.
