Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has addressed the heads of ministries and departments with a request to visit orphanages on St. Nicholas Day and congratulate the children on the holiday.
“I am asking the heads of ministries and departments to visit their
sponsored orphanages and other institutions, and congratulate the
children on this holiday,” he said opening the government’s meeting on
Wednesday.
The prime minister urged the officials to make sure that the heating
is proper and the meals are fine, and if not to take steps to rectify
the situation.
Azarov expressed the hope that this day will bring something good to every kid all over Ukraine.
